# Freelance Sales Partner (Commission-Only)

Seeking a freelance sales partner 
to help bring in new business on a commission-only basis.
This is an independent contractor role, not an employment position, 
and is suited to someone who is commercially driven, self-managed, 
and confident in closing deals without day-to-day supervision.

## Role overview

The freelance sales partner will 
identify leads, develop opportunities, pitch the company's products or services, and 
convert qualified prospects into paying customers. 
Compensation is tied directly to revenue generated, 
keeping cost variable for the business and aligning incentives with results.

## What the role offers

- Commission-only structure with upside linked directly to closed revenue.
- 25% of gross revenue from sales generated from clients you bring in, 
  subject to the final contractor agreement.

  (e.g. first.last@artificial-autonomy.com) 
  will be provided for client communication and outreach.

## Key responsibilities

- Source and qualify leads that fit the company's target customer profile.
- Reach out to prospects through personal networks, outbound outreach, referrals, 
  and other channels.
- Present the company's products or services clearly and persuasively.
- Manage the sales pipeline from first contact through negotiation and close.
- Coordinate with the company on pricing, proposal terms, 
  and onboarding handover when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of active opportunities and deal status.
- Protect confidential information and represent the company professionally.

## Ideal profile

- Proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or lead generation.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Able to open doors, create trust, and move prospects toward purchase.
- Organised and disciplined in managing a pipeline.
- Interested in gaining exposure to 
  quantitative finance, AI, and data analytics applications in a commercial setting.
- Familiarity with the relevant industry, customer segment, or product category 
  is an advantage.

## Commercial structure

- Engagement type : Independent contractor / freelance partner.
- Compensation    : Commission-only.
- Revenue share   : 25% of gross revenue from sales generated from clients 
                    originated by the partner, as defined in the final signed agreement.
- Payment timing  : Payable after customer payment is received, 
                    subject to the final signed agreement.
- Expenses        : Unless otherwise agreed in writing, 
                    the partner bears their own business expenses.

## Important notes

- This role is not a salaried employee position.
- The partner will have flexibility over work methods and schedule, 
  subject to agreed commercial and brand guidelines.
- Final terms, including 
  client attribution, treatment of renewals, refunds, exclusivity, and 
  confidentiality obligations, will be set out in the contractor agreement.
